Privacy policy
This policy explains the information VerityPath uses to operate private, source-linked public-information searches and to protect customers, subjects, and the service.
Information we collect
We collect account and contact details, verification and agreement records, search instructions and permitted-purpose confirmations, token and payment history, support communications, security events, and the public-source evidence generated for your private reports. When you choose location-based features, we may process device or search locations needed for those features.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate accounts, prevent abuse, calculate and process purchases, run searches, estimate identity-match confidence, deliver private reports, respond to support requests, investigate misuse, and satisfy legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or use cross-app tracking for advertising.
Service providers
VerityPath uses contracted infrastructure, authentication, security, communications, mapping, public-record, analytics, and payment providers only for the functions they perform for us. Payment-card details are handled by the payment provider rather than stored directly by VerityPath.
Retention and deletion
We retain data only as long as needed for the service, security, disputes, accounting, and legal obligations. You may request account deletion in the app or follow our public account-deletion instructions. Some records may be retained where law, fraud prevention, payment reconciliation, or an active dispute requires it; retained data is restricted from ordinary product use.
Your choices and safety
You can review account data, adjust notification preferences, request export or correction, and delete your account. Reports are private to the account owner and must not be republished or used for prohibited eligibility decisions. VerityPath applies encryption, access control, audit logging, and monitoring, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
Age and changes
VerityPath is for adults aged 18 or older. We may update this policy when the service or law changes and will identify the current version and effective date.
